Hey guys, I just wanted to post this to let you guys know that my mom and the rest of my family are okay. We don't know about our house but apparently River Ridge is dry but we don't know about wind or tree damage. The past couple of days have been really hard just not being able to be with loved ones, I'm sure many of you know the feeling, but after talking with my mom last night she made a good point that the most important thing is that our families and friends are safe. Everything else is just STUFF that can be replaced.
Which brings me to the point of this post-PLEASE reply and let me know who you've talked to so we can all make sure everyone's fine. I just got an email from Sasha and her family is safe and her house is fine but her grandmother's house down the street isn't looking so good.
ANYWAYS, please let me know how you all are. I wish we all weren't so far apart from each other at a time like this but lets all just keep the communication and good thoughts and prayers coming. I love you guys-Hardy
PS-I can't understand at all why police don't shoot these looters in the arm or leg. First of all they're breaking the law and second of all, in my opinion, they should be shot for what they're doing at a time like this. |

Well it's been a suprisingly wonderful summer. Its funny how I used to write in this thing every day, but hey things change I guess. Anyways, it was a very fun and busy summer where I met many new people, caught up with some wonderful old friends, and just had some all around great experiences.
Hardy's summer in chronological order:
-One week at home after spring semester (painfully uneventful)
-Six week summer term in Tally (nice and relaxing except for Leslie's crazy ex bf attacking my car and house)
-Two weeks of New Orleans Dance Festival with Ariel at Tulane. Thank god for two weeks of dancing all day.
-Six weeks at Tulane Summer Lyric doing West Side Story and Wonderful Town. Two wonderful shows and many great people and probably the most proffesional experience I have ever had doing theatre in New Orleans.
-One week off.
-Visiting my grandmother, and michael, in Texas.
-Babysitting my one year old 2nd cousin for a week (never again until lord knows when but it was nice)
-Rollerblading and swimming with Megan.
-Reading.
-A week in New York with Megan and Caitlin. Incredibly large amounts of fun and very relaxing. You HAVE to love just relaxing in a town like New York. The three of us just staying up all night playing board games, listening to music, getting cranky, and just enjoying each other...and shopping of course.
-Three days with my mom at the house in North Carolina. So relaxing and wonderful to spend time with her in a place she loves so much (cheesy, huh?)
-One day back in town to pack, ugh, and get my hair cut-nice and short baby-and catching up with Sasha, which was longgg overdue.
I have to say I was really worried that this would be an uneventful summer but it has turned out to be one of the best. Thanks to all.
Also, break a leg to all the new college freshmen out there!!! I've heard from some of you already and I am sooo incredibly happy to hear that you are all having a blast! Live it up and PLEASE be careful. I know all of you will be amazing. Love you kids.

So ya, I'm no good at updating this thing anymore but i'll to catch up on the important things.
Tallahassee
-summer session was good. did well in all the classes.
-my house and car were attacked by leslie's ex-bf and we called the cops on him and he was arrested. total charges-$15,000 baby. don't fuck with me bitches.
-also called the cops on this guy who punched this woman in the face in the middle of an intersection. crazy world full of crazy people kids...
-got my tech shit done with-tg-by working on Kudzu the musical, lol random but funnn.
NOLA
-got back sunday morning and hung out all day
-got coffee with ari that afternoon and caught up, yay
-that night did hookah with sasha and watched nathan play on frenchman
-this week:
9:00-10:30 am-Ballet
10:30-12:00 pm-Musical Theatre Rep
12:00-1:30 pm-Tap
6:30-10:00 pm-West Side
-Glad to be busy and spending almost all of my day and night at Tulane.
-Just got a summer membership at Premier Gym, somehow want to fit in an hour a day even though rehearsals are starting at one this week lol. any ideas???
-Last but not least, re-read HP4 and now HP5 like crazy in time for HP6!!!! AHHHHHH!
I'm glad to be back, nice to see everyone, even though I haven't seen alot of people yet. Miss tally people like crazy. I wish they'd come and visit but o well. Glad I'm busy and not being a bum. I wanna spill soooo bad but I refuse to do it this way. I can't wait to see you. |

sooo its been a while. nice week or so. my concerns from a couple of weeks ago are gone.
so my bday weekend was very nice. went over to chili's with shay, linds, ryan, and danny and then we went back to shay and lindsey's place and played boardgames for a while. then we decided on getting ice cream but they were all plotting to throw me in the fountain. they def suprised me lol but i put up a fight. at first, i totally refused because i was wearing linen pants and didn't want them in nasty fountain water so they finally gave up and everyone was all bummed so of course i felt bad and we turned around and i let them throw me in. lol i guess i'm now a 'true seminole' ha.
saturday i woke up and relaxed most of the day, went to the mall and shopped, went for a quick trip to the beach with ryan and then came back and relaxed. got a lot of calls and messages from friends-thanks guys love you all! then i rented lemeny-or however you spell it-snicket's a series of unfortunate events. good movie. stopped halfway through and got ready for my birthday party! lol showed up about an hour late, i guess that's still considered fashionable but it was my party lol. very fun night, someone brought a keg to my suprise so of course there was many a birthday keg stand ha! so ya got really wasted and partied into the morning hours. woke up the the morning around eight-don't ask me why-and came home, fixed breakfast and then crashed till like six.
this week hasn't been bad, had a paper and a midterm but that's it really. did well on both of them. classes are usual. i've been working out every day and feel fabulous. i'm also eating sooo much better. everything in my fridge is healthy. makes me feel sooo good! *pats self on back* also started teching kudzu which has been very long. seven to eleven every flippin night and we still don't know exactly what the show is about. anyways, still fun hangin out with ryan and shayla backstage. also get to sit and chat with kate, which is nice.
talked to seven of the nine incoming freshmen, they all seem to be sweet, cool, excited, and full of questions. hopefully i'll get to meet them all when they come up for orientation over the next three weeks.
this past week was pretty chill, going to bed at reasonable hours, doing alot of casual reading and working out and cooking. i liked it alot.

So yea, life is pretty chill right now. Just taking class, working out, and hanging out. Its nice but i'm a little stir-crazy. The summer is nice but its too long to but out of my schedule. I dunno, I'm very blah right now.
Anyways, the rest of my week in nola was nice. Gave out applications, heard nothing yet-ugh, and then friday night I went to dinner with ariel at saki cafe, yummy! Then saturday I went with mom to buy all of her new furniture and then hung out. Went to the nocca dance concert that night with ariel and aimee. Then came home. Woke up the next morning and packed and then had a nice lunch with mom and then left and headed back to tally.
Things have been pretty chill, the town is pretty much empty. Its really just the same ten or so people always hanging out and going to class together. No offense to those people, I love them all. But its just weird not having EVERYONE, you know? Classes are fine, nothing special. Doing a new workout dvd especially for upper body, ugh my arms have been like jello for the last couple of days lol. Went and saw the midnight showing of Star Wars Wednesday night/Thursday morning with shay, linds, and john. I know, I know, very nerdy but it was fun. Except for the people who dressed up, scared me alot. I had to walk quickly through the lobby.
Birthday's tomorrow, should be a pleasant day. Not exactly sure what I'm doing during the day. I might go to the beach. Shay and Linds are throwing a party tomorrow night, so that should be fun. BTW happy birthday Gary! So ya, that's all that's going down right now in Tally. Lata kids.

ya so i woke up this early on my own, very proud of me for that. things around here have been fine, pretty uneventful. but its nice to be home.
so i woke up late tuesday morning and then got dressed and went to nocca again. blake was there today so i stayed with him and watched the level I's do some charlie brown ha, cute. then we went downstairs and i did jazz with aimee, pat, amanda, and megan bennett i think her name is. so nice to do blake's long ass warmup, i definitely felt that the next day. then he did technique stuff which also kicked my ass. then after that i left nocca and drove to the lakefront to get my hair cut. nice seeing angela again. hair's really short now. then came home and once again hung out all night.
woke up wednesday and took a shower and got semi-nice and spent the rest of the morning and afternoon getting applications from restauraunts and clothing stores. we'll see how that goes. met sasha-yay!-at hana for a late lunch. so good to see her again. i miss that girl so much. then went to esplanade mall and applied for hollister and then came home and ate dinner with mom and then watched america's next top model-best show ever-and then random shit for the rest of the night. o and i got my spring semester grades last night, those were fabulous so congrats to me. went to bed somewhat early which is why, i guess, i'm up so early.

so i'm back in nola and a little bored. i guess just cuz this past week was packed with so much fun stuff and now i'm back in laid back new orleans but who knows. everyone else i've talked to says there a little desperate for things to do as well.
the drive home wasn't bad. nice chatting with mom and letting her listen to some shows she hadn't heard. got in that night and i got pictures developed yay!!! made me happy yet sad. i sat down and looked through them over and over again. just couldnt put them down. mom and i got chinese take out and i rented some movies.
sat around saturday cuz it was nasty and then went furniture shopping with mom cuz she wants to redocorate-exciting! later that night i went and got coffee with aimee, nice catching up with her. then we went over to meg's yay! finally got to meet tyler. fabulous guy. good to see my baby. ariel came over and erica was there so we all just stayed up and chatted till like two.
woke up and hung around and then went over to my uncle's and aunts place and chatted with them for a while. then came home and had dinner with mom and then met up with adam peyton! so he and i along with his friend from disney and his old friend from destrehan went down to the quarter and hung out all night at the pub and oz. very fun hanging with him again and going out to real clubs lol. came home around two or three.
woke up today around eleven and got coffee at fresca tg. then went to nocca to take class with blake but as usual he wasn't there so i did a combination for the level two's. fun but i wish blake was there. i've been craving his class lately. then left and came home, ate dinner and now i've been so bored that i've been looking up all the royal families of europe-serbia, yugoslavia, england, sweden, norway, and spain so far lol. i know, very few things to be done. lata yall. |
